Can you believe we are in our final week?

This next week (Sunday and Tuesday) are the final gym times of the Fall Varsity Academy.  Be sure to join us as we wrap up the fall.  Check out the dates I’ve listed below so you can stay involved with NBC and VA throughout the year!

Hoop Tip – Many of us need to be a different player on the court than the person we are off the court.  It’s great to be a kind, humble, and friendly person off the court, but on the court you will struggle if you are that way.  On the court you have to be fierce, aggressive, competitive, intense and even a little bit selfish at times.  Practice turning on your Basketball Switch every time you step on the court.

November 12 (Veterans Day): NBC Basketball Clinic

            Where:             The Warehouse

            Who:                Boys & Girls 9-17

            Time:                9am-3pm

            Cost:                 $70 (for team of 5 or more, save $10 per player)

November 13, 20, 27: D3 for 6-9 year olds

Where:              The Warehouse

            Who:                Boys & Girls 6-9 year olds

            Time:                4-5:30pm

            Cost:                 $60

December 27 and 28: Holiday Hoop Camp

            Where:              The Warehouse

            Who:                Boys & Girls 9-15

            Time:                9am-3pm

            Cost:                 $110

January 6: VA Winter Session for 9-13 year olds  (Sundays only)

            Where:              Mead High School

            Who:                Boys & Girls 9-13

            Time:                3-5pm

            Cost:                 $215

High School VA Athletes:

I need about 5 more volunteers to help put on a 10-15 minute basketball demonstration. 

Date: November 10, 2007, Time: Arrive at 7:45 pm (Demo at 8:00 pm)

Location: Lewis and Clark High School   >Wear black VA t-shirt and bring a ball.

Also High Schoolers, check out the attached link for a YMCA event happening at Whitworth University Thursday from 4-6 pm.  No basketball, but there is free food.
